WHAT IF I AM AFRAID OF HORSES?
Ad Astra Stables focus is on safety for the humans and the horses. Safety procedures are taught, enforced and monitored at all times.
All exercises are optional at Ad Astra Stables. You will gain the benefits of being with the horses and you don’t actually even have to touch a horse. You will be supported at your own speed.
As you learn about horses, your confidence will increase with time and experience. The horses at Ad Astra Stables will provide immediate feedback to make you feel safe with them.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes that you won’t mind getting dirty. It is recommended that you wear layers dependent on the weather.
Closed toe boots or shoes are mandatory and we recommend wearing ice cleats over boots during the winter.
HOW LONG IS THE DRIVE FROM NORTH BAY?
Ad Astra Stables is approximately a 30-minute drive from North Bay. This is based on good road conditions and no construction.
