With full hearts, we share that Ad Astra Stables has officially closed its doors.
This has been one of the most difficult decisions we have ever made, yet it is also one we make with peace, gratitude, and excitement for the next chapter of our lives.
When Ad Astra Stables began in 2019, it started with a dream. We believed that horses could create a space where people could slow down, reconnect with themselves, and discover new possibilities. We had no idea just how many incredible people would become part of that dream.
Over the years, we had the privilege of welcoming veterans, military members, first responders, caregivers, families, and individuals from all walks of life to our farm. We watched people find courage, rediscover hope, build confidence, and experience meaningful moments alongside our horses. Those experiences have left an imprint on our hearts that will never fade.
Like many small businesses, our journey was not without challenges. There were seasons of uncertainty, loss, and unexpected obstacles. We experienced the heartbreaking loss of beloved horses, navigated health challenges, and faced moments when we questioned how we would continue.
Clients waited patiently while life demanded our attention elsewhere. Volunteers gave their time and energy without hesitation. Friends cared for our animals. Family stood beside us. Our community encouraged us, believed in us, and reminded us why we started this work in the first place.

Throughout this journey, Ad Astra Stables continued to evolve. We pursued education with curiosity and dedication, always asking how we could better serve the people who entrusted us with their stories. We expanded our knowledge through programs that helped shape who we became:

After years of building, growing, learning, and serving, we have chosen to embrace retirement.
We want to spend more time together. More time with our family and friends. More time riding our horses, enjoying quiet evenings around the fire, taking walks, sharing meals, and simply appreciating the life we have worked so hard to create.
For so many years, our attention was always on the next client, the next program, the next project, or the next dream. Now, we are choosing something different. We are choosing presence.
Although Ad Astra Stables has come to an end, the relationships we have built do not have to.
If you have visited our farm, attended a program, volunteered, partnered with us, or simply followed our journey, we hope you will stay in touch. The friendships we have made have been one of the greatest gifts of this experience.
Looking back, we realize that Ad Astra Stables was never just about horses.
It was about believing that growth is possible when we feel seen, heard, and supported.
